Haus Hotel St Anton

Located in the centre of the village, close to shops, restaurants, bars and of course hot springs, Hotel St. Anton is a great option for a mid-range hotel. The owners of the hotel have given their clean and comfortable property a real European feel and are very hospitable. Rooms are Western style and compact in size.

The restaurant serves both Japanese and Western dishes including delicious home made pizzas. The restaurant is open for ski in/ski out lunches, and hotel guests receive a discount. There is also a ski tune up room, a ski rental shop, and internet on site. Fluent English and German speaking staff are on hand to help with any special requests during your stay. There are 13 different public onsens within walking distance of the hotel.

Kiriya Ryokan

Kiriya Ryokan is a comfortable mid-range property situated on the east side of the village 3 minutes from the Yu Road (moving walkway to the ski slopes). There are many options for restaurants and bars nearby. Japanese/Western combination rooms, a Japanese restaurant, table tennis, and hot springs are also available.

The ryokan boasts beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and the staff speak english. Breakfast includes the option to have either Japanese or Western food. There is a large ski repair/storage room, and free Wifi internet in the lobby.

Lodge Matsuya

A spacious, comfortable, and very friendly place to stay, Lodge Matsuya is well recommended for those not wanting to spend a great deal of money while skiing in Nozawa Onsen. Centrally located in the Nozawa Village, you can walk to the 13 natural hotsprings Nozawa Onsen is known for and explore the village after a day on the slopes. You will receive excellent service and great home cooked meals with modest levels of accommodation. Bathrooms in the pension are all shared, and there is a coin laundry on site. The nearest Nozawa Onsen ski lift is a 7 minute walk away.

Lodge Nagano

Located in the Nozawa Onsen village only 100m from the ski slopes, Lodge Nagano’s relaxed and warm atmosphere will make it the perfect base for your Nozawa Onsen stay. It is also only a short stroll into the village to access its free public hotsprings as well as bars, restaurants, and shops. Australian owned and operated, this lodge will feel like your home away from home.

Rooms have either bunk beds, or comfortable tatami style Japanese futons. They are also bright and clean and offer fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. All bookings include a healthy breakfast with tea or coffee.

Nozawa Grand Hotel

This is a fabulous completely refurbished property offers customers the best of Japanese and Western accommodations. Elegantly designed utilizing modern Japanese architecture, there are a variety of comfortable and relaxing room styles. There are both indoor and outdoor natural hotsprings at the Nozawa Grand, and an internet terminal is available for use in the lobby. Located a 5 minute walk from the Shin-Yu moving walkway and looking out at the Nozawa Onsen Ski hill, the Nozawa Grand Hotel is an excellent facility to take in the beautiful location.

Nozawa House

This is a wonderful self contained house set at the top of Nozawa Onsen’s village near the moving road to the slopes. After a day skiing, you can just ski right up to the door, then head to one of the hot springs located just 50m away. This is a private and tranquil option for groups or a few families looking to relax while in Nozawa.

Nozawa Onsen Hotel

Nozawa Onsen Hotel is a comfortable and spacious property with good facilities. It is conveniently located 3 minutes away from the Yu Road (moving walkway to the ski slopes) and a 7 minute walk to the Nagasaka gondola. The hotel also has a Japanese restaurant and hot springs.

The hotel consists of 19 Japanese and 5 Western rooms. There are both indoor and outdoor hotsprings, and an internet terminal available for use.

Pension Schnee

Pension Schnee is a small pension in the Hikage area of Nozawa Onsen. Their friendly service will make this a stay to remember. Wireless LAN is available in the dining area. There is a Western style restaurant, and a bar to enjoy a relaxing apres ski drink. A great value option for your ski vacation accommodation. There is also vending machines, and a Japanese style bathhouse. The Pension Schnee is right on the slope (you can ski to within 50m of the door in winter) and can only be accessed by the ski lift or by the hotel's snow truck which does pickups from the village.

Resort House Kohgen

Very close to O-yu, Japan's monument Ogama, and the main street of Nozawa Onsen. Resort House Kohgen features a mixture of Japanese and Western style accommodation in a Japanese pension. It is located at the foot of the Hikage ski slopes. The restaurant offers both Japanese and Western cuisine.

Ryokan Sakaya

Ryokan Sakaya is the premier Japanese style hotel in Nozawa Onsen. The hotel boasts an exquisite level of service and the food in the Japanese restaurant is exceptional. The hotel's thermal hot springs (both indoor and outdoor) are among the best in Japan and perfect for a relaxing soak after a day skiing in the Japanese Alps. Sumiyoshiya Ryokan

Sumiyoshiya is a traditional ryokan with 15 Japanese-style guest rooms. 10 of the guest rooms have their own private toilet and 4 of the guest rooms have their own private toilet and bath. There are indoor and outdoor onsens (hot spring baths) for both women and men (same sex only). A variety of homemade Japanese-style cuisine is served at the ryokan’s Japanese restaurant.

Umenoya Hotel

Umenoya is a budget friendly Japanese style pension with one of Nozawa's many natural onsens conveniently located next door. Umenoya is in the central part of the Nozawa village and all the rooms are twin share Japanese style with futon bedding. The bathrooms are shared. A Japanese style breakfast is included.
